Press releases«Beluga Projects Logistic» takes part in the construction of the first plant in Eastern Siberia to produce polymers from ethane - the Irkutsk Polymer Plant. In June 2023, the company completed movement and verticalizing hydrogen bullets.
Two units of equipment weighing 107.8 tons each and with overall dimensions of 18.6m x 3.9m x 3.7m had to be moved around the plant to the work site and installed in the project position.
Transportation was conducted using a tractor truck and a modular platform (11 axles), and for verticalization, unique equipment for Russia was used - the Greiner Power Tower carrier system. The system consists of ready-made modules of metal structures, and its assembly is conducted in a short time. The maximum lifting height is 31 m, and the load capacity of each supporting tower is from 150 to 900 tons.
The proposed engineering solution using craneless lifting technologies made it possible to optimize the budget, and the work on transportation and verticalization of the bullets was completed in accordance with the planned schedule.
